Echo Beyond the Dark Portal
Quest #972000
Marek Vale at Ariden’s Camp claimed he saw the expedition return before it had left. Elira sent me a copy of the journal and the fragment you recovered. Both point to the same mark, and that mark has appeared again in Outland.
When I placed the fragment beside a sample from beyond the Dark Portal, it trembled. An abandoned meter in Zangarmarsh once recorded disturbances like this. Travel there and examine its readings. Use the campaign teleporter in the shop.
Before we draw a conclusion, I need to know whether the trail truly crosses the portal—and whether the expedition’s echo has followed us.
