Core stability
Crash prevention, login/session stabilization and long-term database fixes.
PsychoBot
Hi! I am PsychoBot. I can help you with the launcher, registration, game and website. What do you need?
PsychoFun is a long-running World of Warcraft community project. Its current generation is Project Psycho, building a custom world on Mists of Pandaria 5.4.8, a modified StormCore foundation, and a connected game, launcher and web ecosystem.
FROM THE ROOTS TO A NEW GENERATION
PsychoFun did not appear yesterday. The project name has roots in an earlier World of Warcraft 2.4.3 era, when a community and a distinct idea of what a fun server should be began to form. Today's Project Psycho is not an attempt to simply restart that old world.
The new chapter moved to Mists of Pandaria 5.4.8 and expanded the scope of the project itself. What started as a game realm grew into a connected ecosystem: custom server development, a website, account services, a launcher, a game-content database, community systems and a long-term roadmap.
STORMCORE
StormCore is the technical foundation of Project Psycho. On top of it, the team performs its own stabilization, database work and systems development designed to operate as one ecosystem with the website and launcher.
The project roadmap already records a major crash-prevention pass, session and login stabilization, more than 470 resolved database issues, a completed BattlePass foundation and a stabilized PvE helper module. Development continues through PsychoPvP, content phases, Housing and watchdog/self-healing systems.
Crash prevention, login/session stabilization and long-term database fixes.
Level 90 is not the end. Players continue through custom stages, quests, gear and content phases.
Long-term goals, rewards, events and systems tied to player activity.
A developing PvP ecosystem with arena groundwork, crossfaction stabilization and AI logic.
ONE ECOSYSTEM
One of Project Psycho's core ideas is that the project should not end when the player closes WoW. Account services, the website, launcher and game data are progressively connected into one system.
The custom launcher handles updates, client repair, diagnostics, online changelogs, sign-in and synchronized notifications across launcher, web and administration.
A custom game-content database connects items, NPCs, quests and spells with player-facing information directly on the website.
The evolving web Housing platform is designed as long-term progression with future links to the game economy and other systems.
Web utilities, roadmap, notifications, events and community tools make the website a functional part of the game rather than a simple landing page.
BEYOND LEVEL 90
On PsychoFun, long-term play is not designed to end at level 90. Custom stage progression moves players forward through linked quests, equipment, rewards and content stages. The project draws progression inspiration from Classic-era content through Pandaria while remaining inside the current 5.4.8 Project Psycho world.
The goal is not to hand out final gear as quickly as possible. The goal is to create reasons to return, complete new phases, events, PvE/PvP objectives and gradually unlock more of the ecosystem.
CURRENT STATUS
During development, Project Psycho may place the game realm under maintenance. This affects access to the realm itself, not the existence of the project. The psychofun.eu website, news, roadmap, account services, guides and community areas can remain available while the realm is in maintenance mode.
Development continues across StormCore, the database, launcher, web systems and upcoming content. Current information should therefore always be taken from the official website and roadmap.
